Driver for NVIDIA NVIDIA ION - downloading and installing it

1. Install NVIDIA NVIDIA ION driver manually

1. Download the driver setup file for NVIDIA NVIDIA ION driver from the link below. This download link is for the driver version 8.17.12.8586 dated 2011-11-19.

3. Start the driver installation file from a Windows account with administrative rights. If your User Access Control (UAC) is started then you will have to accept of the driver and run the setup with administrative rights.

5. Go through the driver installation wizard, which should be quite straightforward. The driver installation wizard will scan your PC for compatible devices and will install the driver.

7. Shutdown and restart your PC and enjoy the new driver, as you can see it was quite smple.

2. Using DriverMax to install NVIDIA NVIDIA ION driver

1. Open DriverMax and push on the yellow button that says ~SCAN FOR DRIVER UPDATES NOW~. Wait for DriverMax to scan and analyze each driver on your PC.

3. Take a look at the list of detected driver updates. Scroll the list down until you locate the NVIDIA NVIDIA ION driver. Click the Update button.

5. That's it, you installed your first driver!
